- How much does ad space cost?
- Placements start at 5 USD, which is the whole cost. There is no monthly fee, no minimum spend and no contract. To take a ranked spot from another brand you pay 5 USD more than their running total.
- Is this like the Million Dollar Homepage?
- It is the same family of idea: a single page, a finite amount of space, and advertisers buying a piece of it in public. The difference is that nothing here sells out. Space is not carved into fixed pixels, it is ranked, so a spot can always change hands by somebody paying more for it.
- What do I get for 5 USD?
- A placement carrying your brand name and a link to your site, positioned by how much has been paid for it. Clicks are counted and shown publicly next to every placement, so the performance of a spot is visible before you buy it and after.
- Who is this good for?
- Small products with a sense of humour. Indie apps, side projects, newsletters, tools nobody has heard of yet. It is a novelty billboard, not a performance channel, and the brands that do well here are the ones happy to be seen on it.
- Can I be removed?
- Only if the destination is adult, hateful, illegal or misleading. Those are removed without a refund. Otherwise a placement stays until somebody pays more for the rank.
